Established in 1929, the La Crosse Rifle Club hosts a 600 yard rifle range, two handgun ranges, and a trap range. The club hosts High Power rifle matches, various handgun and rifle leagues, weekly trap, and various firearm education classes.

Membership Information & Application

The La Crosse Rifle Club is a private, gated club.  There are no “open shoot” days, you must be a member or the guest of a member to use the facility.  All members and guests are expected to follow our range rules found here

To become a member of the club, you must be sponsored by a current member, and submit an application with a non-refundable $50 application fee.  The application and fee must be submitted in person at a club meeting.  Our current waiting list is running about three years.

The application can be found here, and turned in at a club meeting along with the non-refundable $50 fee.

Club meetings are the first Wednesday of each month at 7:00 or 8:00 pm depending on the time of year.  Please see the Calendar page for latest information.

The current cost to join is $175/year plus a one time initiation fee of $87.50, once approved by the Board of Directors.  This money is not due until you are invited to join.  Submitting a membership application does not guarantee membership.

The primary purpose of the La Crosse Rifle Club is to promote the shooting sports through organized rifle, pistol, shotgun and social events.  All work done on the range, clubhouse and matches is done voluntarily by club members.
