About LRC

The primary purpose of the La Crosse Rifle Club is to promote the shooting sports through organized rifle, pistol, shotgun and social events.  We are a non-profit organization, all work done on the range, clubhouse and matches is done voluntarily by club members. Our club is located just 15 minuets south of La Crosse, WI.

La Crosse Rifle Club is a private, gated club.  There are no “open shoot” days, you must be a member or the guest of a member to use our facilites. All members and guests are expected to follow our range rules found here. Please view our Deer Hunter’s Sight-In web page.

La Crosse Rifle Club is a 100% NRA affiliated club, all club members must be a member in good standing with the National Rifle Association. There is a 100 membership limit which means you may be at the club by yourself with unlimited time to complete your shooting goals for the day.

La Crosse Rifle Club has several ranges open for use when no other organized events are in progress. One trap house for organized leagues. Two 25 yard covered ranges for small bore rifle and pistol shooting. A covered cement bench rest range for shotgun and rifle shooting with targets at distances of 50, 100, 200, 300 yards. An indoor shooting house, muzzles outside for rifle & pistol shooting. Finally the big range which is a 200/300/600/1000 yard range for NRA/CMP style shooting.

La Crosse Rifle Club has several organized leagues for club members and their guests to participate in. The club also holds NRA and CMP sanctioned rifle matches which several club members participate in. Please refer to our other club pages and calendar for a list of events.
