Spring Leagues

Spring is here, and so are shooting activities. In case you haven’t seen our calendar, here’s what’s currently ongoing:

La Crosse Rifle Club is running a summer .22 league starting this week and running through the end of July.  We will meet at the range on Mondays at 6 p.m. and there is a division for rifle and one for pistol.  Targets are engaged at 50 feet and you turn in only those targets you want to count for your league score.  You can turn in as many targets as you wish with the ten highest scores counting toward your league score.  Non-members are welcome to participate.  Cost is $20 for the rifle league and $20 for the pistol league; you can participate in one or both.  Contact Dennis Fater (Professorgun1@gmail.com) for information.

It is not too late to join in for informal high power rifle practice on Thursday nights.  We will practice at 200, 300, and 600 yards starting at 5 p.m. on Thursdays and we will use the electronic scoring targets at all distances.  Duration is 6 weeks and the cost is $30 for members and $60 for non-members.  For more information contact Mike Stewart at navybluejacket@yahoo.com.

Trap is running at 5pm each Wednesday night. Cost is $4 for members and $5 for nonmembers.

Shoot straight!
