Membership Information & Application
The La Crosse Rifle Club is a private, gated club, with a 100-member limit. There are no “open shoot” days, you must be a member or the guest of a member to use the facility. To become a member of the club, you must be sponsored by a current member, and submit an application with a non-refundable $50 fee. The application and fee must be submitted in person at a club meeting. Our current waiting list is running about two years, so if you are interested in becoming a member, it would be good to get on that list ASAP.
The application can be found here, and turned in at a club meeting along with the non-refundable $50 fee.
We have our club meetings on the first Wednesday of each month. In order to become a member of the club, you need to have a sponsor. If you don’t know anyone that is a member, you should come to a meeting and meet some of us and get involved in club activities.
The current cost to join is $150/year plus a one time initiation fee of $75, once approved by the Board of Directors. This money is not due until you are invited to join. Submitting a membership application does not guarantee membership.
The primary purpose of the La Crosse Rifle Club is to promote the shooting sports through organized rifle, pistol, shotgun and social events. As a member, you are expected participate in these shooting and social events. All work done on the range, clubhouse and at matches is done voluntarily by club members.
